But occasionally, a piece of wood needs a little more attention before polishing.

Older furniture, sun-exposed cabinets, or wood that hasn’t been conditioned in years can sometimes appear dry, faded, or dull. In these cases, polishing alone may not bring back the richness the wood once had. The surface may simply need some of its natural moisture replenished first.

A Deeper Step for Aging Wooden Surfaces

During this time, the oils and beeswax begin conditioning the surface and helping restore moisture to the wood.

Once the wood has absorbed the treatment, normal care can continue.
